Set Up Your Repo

After MCP setup finishes, this page shows the two paths for Gloria setup in a repo. Use setting-up-a-project for a new repo that still needs the first Gloria instructions. Use setting-up-gloria when the repo already has Gloria wiring and only needs the standard setup flow. If the project still needs registration, go back to Register a Project first.

Set up your repo

  1. Ask your agent to run the right setup skill.

    Ask your agent:

You: “Set up Gloria in this new repo.”

Gloria: “I set up the first Gloria instructions and offered to continue with setting-up-gloria. For a repo that already has Gloria wiring, setting-up-gloria is the direct path.”

  2. Review the repo updates.

setting-up-a-project prepares a new repo for Gloria, then hands off to setting-up-gloria when the first setup is in place. setting-up-gloria fits repos that already have Gloria wiring and keeps the setup aligned with the standard instructions.

If the repo already has Gloria wiring, start with setting-up-gloria directly. If it does not, start with setting-up-a-project and accept the handoff when it appears.

Re-running setting-up-gloria is safe, because it refreshes the existing setup in place.

  3. Check whether the setup needs a refresh.

The agent checks whether the repo still matches Gloria’s latest setup guidance. When it does not, it offers a refresh and reruns setting-up-gloria.

Verify

Ask your agent to confirm that the repo is ready for Gloria and that the setup matches the latest guidance.

You: “Confirm that this repo is ready for Gloria setup.”

Gloria: “The repo is set up for Gloria, and the setup matches the latest guidance.”
